Retrofit now! More power for large forklift batteries thanks to innovative solar modules. Our service department has some news to announce: We have developed a technical solution to solve the problem of a flat starter battery when the forklift truck is not in use for long periods of time. Our first large forklift truck has been successfully equipped with a solar module so that it is always ready for use. This innovative solution serves to increase battery charge retention, which in turn increases availability and uptime for our customers. Another advantage is the cost saving, as service calls can be avoided. Two modules are installed per forklift truck, each with an output of 70 watts and capable of charging batteries up to 145 aH. Step by step, all the large forklift trucks in our rental fleet will be equipped with solar modules. We also offer our customers the option of equipping their own forklift trucks with the environmentally friendly modules. The longer battery life not only protects the environment, but also reduces replacement costs.
