The health and safety of our employees is a matter close to our hearts. That’s why occupational health and safety is a top priority in our company – and Marcus Transport received the corresponding certificate from BG Verkehr in February 2023.
SYSTEMATIC AND EFFECTIVE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
The requirements for systematic and effective occupational health and safety must be met in order to receive the “Systematic Safety” certificate, which is awarded by the Berufsgenossenschaft Verkehrswirtschaft Post-Logistik Telekommunikation (BG Verkehr).
The inspection and certification are based on the BG Verkehr guidelines for occupational health and safety management and the NLF/ILO-OSH 2001 guidelines for occupational health and safety management systems. Marcus Transport was able to convince with the operational implementation of the specifications and is therefore “Safe with a system”.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY ACCORDING TO INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED CRITERIA
The ILO/OSH 2001 guidelines for occupational health and safety management systems originate from the UN’s occupational health and safety organization (International Labour Organization, ILO) and are recognized worldwide. It contains recommendations for the organization of occupational health and safety as well as for planning and implementation.
Marcus Transport has demonstrated that all requirements for responsibilities, qualifications, documentation, communication and measures to prevent hazards have been implemented in the company in accordance with the specifications. The certificate from the BG Verkehr thus confirms the high priority of occupational health and safety in our company.
