Marcus Transport GmbH has been appointed a partner for civil emergency care in Germany since August 2021.
We have made a voluntary commitment to the Federal Office for Goods Transport to be available in emergencies, for example to ensure supplies to the population in the event of environmental disasters, economic crises or even terrorist attacks.
We hope that such a serious situation never occurs. Nevertheless, in a well-organized state like Germany, it is necessary to have an emergency plan for such scenarios in order to be able to successfully manage a potential crisis.
Telecommunications faults in the landline network are cleared immediately and with priority. In addition, Marcus Transport GmbH receives a special mobile phone connection that is given priority network access in the event of a crisis.
This means that Marcus Transport GmbH is now part of the powerful emergency network of around 600 German road haulage companies and the approximately 12,000 road trains that can be deployed with their respective fleets in times of crisis. Federal Office for Goods Transport (BAG) in times of crisis.
